Making Your Own Stationery
Have you ever tried to find the perfect stationery for your needs and personality? It is often hard to find something in stores that is exactly what you want. Maybe one kind has nice art but isn’t lined, while another has the lines you need but the rest of the design is terrible. And of course the stationery you find at the craft store won’t have your personal contact information on it. Fortunately, you won’t have to settle on a subpar design, as stationery can easily be made at home with your printer! All you have to do is follow the guide below. When making a stationery design, you must determine your needs. Figure out if you want your stationery lined and where you want your contact information to be on the stationery. Then, you should get an idea of what kind of artwork to include around the edges. Once you have a rough draft laid out on paper, you can get started on bringing your design to life on the computer.
In order to put your design into action, you’ll need a writing program. Microsoft Word is a common choice, but you can use whatever program you like. Once you open your program, you’ll need to create a new document. Make sure to set the page margins to the smallest possible size; this will allow your design to reach the edges of the paper, and give you more space to work with.
After setting the margins, you can add lines and your personal contact information. Then you can add your artwork by dragging the images onto the document and arranging them however you like. Once you feel that the design suits you, print out as many copies of the stationery as you need. Be sure to save your stationery design so that you can print more when you run out!
